Bas Ek Dhun isn't a story with huge conspiracies, shocking plot twists, mafia empires, or high-stakes suspense.

It's simply a story about people.

A doctor trying to overcome the fear of marriage.

A pianist learning that love sometimes arrives after unbearable loss.

A family trying to heal.

And a few broken hearts finding their way back to happiness.

It's a short novel, but one that focuses more on emotions than events. Every conversation, every paragraph, every dialogue has a purpose.

So if you decide to read it, I'd request just one thing, please don't rush through it. This isn't the kind of story that's meant to be scrolled past quickly. Take your time with the words, because the emotions live between the lines.

I also know this kind of story may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Some readers might find it too simple, too emotional, cringe, serial types or even a little "family-drama" oriented. If that's not what you're looking for, it's completely okay to skip this one. I'd rather have a few readers who truly connect with it than thousands who don't.

This book is also very special to me because I wanted to challenge myself as a writer. I wanted to step away from larger-than-life plots and see if I could make ordinary moments feel extraordinary through emotions alone.

Whether this story reaches a hundred people or just a handful, I genuinely hope those who read it feel something by the end.

If even one scene stays with you after you close this book, I'll consider this book worth writing.
